Collaborative Print Work

At the moment, I am currently doing my Collaborative Practice in Print

I am working at the Gosta Green and Bournville Campus in collaboration with the Illustration students at Gosta Green.

The end result will be a printed book using the Risograph technique.

I will be seeking  advice from Harry and Robin from an “endless supply” , who will take a look at our work and explain the development and format of the final booklet.

They will also look at the manifestos for each group and give advice on development.

Below are examples of my Lino prints printed onto different colored paper back grounds.
My aim was to experiment with the same image for ideas and patterns/colours that would be a good contrast with the Black ink.

My first Lino print of the Bird, is extremely bold and simple in design. The exciting thing is, I could do so many more things with this printing
technique, using the design on endless surfaces
using embellish and stich for a different look.
Below is a sample of a digital image of my print to explore one area of what a stiched design may look like, if I wanted to take the process futher.

Below lino print on coloured card.
Lino printing is a techique that I will use in future, However I will experinment with different size lino cutters next time giving the design more detail.
